Turkey in Cream Sauce
1 1/4 c chicken broth
1 med onion, diced
2 cloves garlic minced
1 tsp Bavarian seasoning (blend of brown mustard, rosemary, garlic, thyme, bay leaves and sage) OR original recipe just called for Rosemary and 2 Bay Leaves
1 tsp Morton's "Nature's Seasons"
3 turkey breast tenderloins
3 Tbsp cornstarch
1/2 c half and half or milk
1/2 tsp salt
In slow cooker, combine broth, onion, garlic and bay leaves. Mix Bavarian and Mortins seasonings and rub over turkey. Place in slow cooker. Cover; cook on low 7-8 hours or until meat is tender. Remove turkey, keep warm. Strain cooking juices; pour into sauce pan.
Combine cornstarch, cream and salt until smooth. Gradually add juices. Bring to a boil, cook and stir 2 minutes or thickened. Slice turkey and serve with sauce.
